Lets lighten things up a little!!!!
Does anyone know if in OZ there is an equivalent of Pyschic Derek Acorah.
I am really addicted to the tv series Most haunted and I am going to see him in Notts soon (sad I know) but I have my reasons!!!
I need to know if there is anyone as good as him in Australia and do they have a similar following.?
I will really miss it when I go to Oz maybe they will repeat it on Cable.

You were right first time :D I can't stand that show. I have an open mind on these things but that show is so staged. I mean, if they are real investigators, why would they position the camera so you can't see the edge of the tablecloth when it moves? :rolleyes:

Actually Mrs M loves Most Haunted and bought 3 DVDs before we came out here. We did see one show on one of the cable channels (forget which) but it might have been a one-off.

Thanks for the reply.Maybe its a women thing.I gather you are not into it then ? :D I will have to buy the dvd's before I come out then..Sad I know.

well i and my other half believe in that sort of thing. so its a much watch for us.

Ohhhhh it's the rethiduals :D .

Most Haunted is on Foxtel Digital here in Brisbane on Channel W (113) on a Saturday evening at 8.45pm.

Worry no more :) . (although they may be ones you've already seen, as I doubt they are new series).

my wifes addicted and so are two of our girls aged 9 & 7. it's on almost every night on sky on either livingtv or FTN, the strange creature even has a couple of his books ............and they wonder why i don't watch a lot of tv :)

I love the show too!! never miss it, think david wells is ace too :D
wanted to see derek acorah before we go, but hes not around swindon, love all the spooky stuff....I get similar experiences to derek and david so its great watching them.

Derek (and his psychic Sam) pop up on the James Whale radio show now and then. A good listen, if a bit weird!

"ooooooo, I can see a man with 2 arms! ........ oh hold on, (thank you Sam!), yes I see a man, with 2 arms, plus 2 legs! This man is talking to me from the other side!"

Do you know anybody who fits this description ?! .... :rolleyes:

Yeah I jest, but he IS good. I've listened to a few of his shows, and altho I'm highly sceptical, he can sometimes hit the nail right on the head with some people!

Or maybe they just go along with whatever he says, but a very enjoyable listen.

I see him once on TV, but only the once, catch him mostly on that radio show I mentioned.

I'm fairly open-minded, but Most Haunted is pure panto isn't it - about as close to real psychic investigations as WWF Wrestling is to a real sport. I watch it occaisonally because it's so funny - especially when Derek gets posessed. I think the best one was where he goes to Yvette "You're a hussy! You're a wench" or something. Pissed myself laughing. What a geezer. :D

does nobody remember one quite a while back when dodgy derk was so convinced that there was human remains behind a brick wall in a cellar somewhere and they actually started taking the wall down..........and there was feckall behind it :D yeah nice one dirk :p . the physic in peter kay's phionix nights was the best ''clinton babtiste'' :) pure class
