Default Derby/Nottingham meet

I've noticed quite a few messages about meeting up in the Midlands area. We're going to a meet at Birmingham but does anyone fancy a meet in the Nottingham/Derby area?

(Particularly anyone planning on moving to Brisbane!!)

Hi, that looks like a better area for us (Me+Steve+Libby who is 3)
We haven't been able to attend the others as they are to far for us to go especially when they start at 5.30pm and I don't get home til then. Obviously Sheffield would be the ideal place for us but Nottingham is only an hour away.
We are looking at probably Sunshine Coast, 30mins from Brissie.
Anybody else??

If some people are interested in this area then, we could see where the majority are coming from and decide whether to meet near Nottingham, Derby or Chesterfield maybe, that would be closer to Sheffield.

OK, we seem to have people interested from Sheffieid to Leicester and in between. How would people be fixed for a meet mid April round about Derby or outskirts of Nottingham on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon???

If kids coming along, we could meet at a Wacky Warehouse pub or similar....

Nope, afraid my timeline on my signature is up to date.
We are hoping to be able to go end August, providing DIMIA comes up trumps with our visa by then.

As for the meet, if it's within an hours drive from Sheffield then we're there.

Wacky Warehouse or something like sounds good to us. We have no choice but to bring our daughter who is 3.

We've got relatives on Goldcoast so if sunshine coast doesn't happen for us then Goldcoast will. We're gonna end up at one or the other.

How old are the kids? Wacky Warehouse age or not?

Hiya we are in Lincoln and are hoping to move to Perth, we havent actualy started the process yet but have been in touch with GoMatilda and where waiting until we got back from our hols (got back yesterday by the way Saturday 12th) before we started the ball rolling. We went to the last Midlands meet and had a great and informative day, let us know what dates you come up with but Sunday is usualy the easiest day for us personaly to make it anywhere, Notts or Derby is good for us. See you there then.

Sunday is the best day for us too, as every other day atleast one of us is working. Steve has Saturdays off but I have to work til 5 so if it's a Sat meet it'd have to be evening for us.

Any thoughts on a date haggisUK? or anyone?

Derby sounds about the best place, there's a Brewster's pub on Pride Park (just off M1 Junction 25, on A52 towards Derby). Can give people more specific directions if needed. Not sure where any pubs like that are in Nottingham so if people don't mind meeting in Derby...?

Is anyone free on Sunday 10th April for the afternoon?
