Dental costs in oz

I'd like to know what are the prices in oz for an implant with titanium and porcelain coronet with or without insurance and the costs in generally for dentistry.
Thanks

Can't answer either question but I had a filling fall out about two days after we got here. Finally got an appointment last week. Just an injection and a filling cost me $150. :scared:

Cannot help on your specific request but I need an crown in the new year and was quoted approx $1500 for the work.
I also had 2 fillings on Tuesday and they were $150 each but I paid $20 each after using my NIB card.

A crown just cost me $1000. I claimed $400 back on my insurance.

Check out individual refunds on private medical they are different per scheme.

My kids cost 5K and 8.5K individually and reclaims about a third per child.

Cheers

3 treatments for a root canal filling and drainage just cost me $750. (thats not including the $150 needed for the bleaching!)

A filling was $150. Xrays $45 and a check up $30.

Dentistry is very cheap in Thailand, we know a few people who go over every 6 months or so for major work. Porcelain crowns etc, were quoted £15,000 in Uk and cost £2,000 all in for complete mouth! and flights from Oz are cheap-Worth a thought

My mum lives on the Gold Coast & she has told me that mybrothers braces were NOT recoverable via Medicare. Also that only a teeny amount is reclaimable for dental via Medicare. She has rec'd to us that we take out extra medical insurance for dental.

Also Manila.

I knew a lady, many years ago, who found it was better to fly to the UK and have work done on the Nationall Health than to have her mother locked up in a dungeon as secutriy for a huge loan.

Hi

If its the (screw in) cosmetic teeth its $4,500 per tooth :scared: I was at a cosmetic dentist the other day and thought it would be nice to have them but NOT AT THAT PRICE :( I am on the 457 Visa so have health cover with IMAN so going to see what I can claim back.

I paid $280 for the kind lady to take out one tooth and abit of a root (that was left in from my UK dentist) on another - just wish the god damn swelling would go down

I think a trip to Thailand is in order :)
