Default Delivery of worldly goods, how long-Perth

We have just arranged our shipping etc and PSS have advised us that the ship will be at Fremantle 21 November 2004.
We hve sole use of a 20ft container.

Just wondering how long, people in Perth, typically, have had to wait for the customs clearance and delivery to house etc.

I know this will not be an exact science as it will vary, but an idea would be apreciated

Cheers

Hi Paul,

Crown told me they were loading ours on Weds and that they would arrive in Perth on 28th October - the day I arrive !! and that they will probably take a week to clear customs.

Good luck mate.

Hi,

We used PSS and it arrived at Freemantle 4 weeks after being shipped over. It then took 2 weeks to clear. It was delivered the day after customs checked it.
PSS were great and I'd really recommend them!! They use Kent on this side.

If you need any other info. just give me a shout.

We have yet to decide on which shippers to use - although PSS have had some good recommendations recently. We will probably move on 12/11 (house sale permitting) & the movers will ship over our stuff shortly after that so will be interested to see when it arrives. Also need to consider that it will be arriving around Xmas & everything closes for 2 weeks & then they will have a backlog of stuff to clear customs & quarantine.

good luck with your move & see you over there. We arrive 6/1 - what about you guys?

cheers
