Delayed reaction

The postman has just brought our passports with our visas in. I am now sitting here in floods of tears, whooping, jumping up and down, sobbing, the lot. This is has been a long time coming. I was just so shocked and spaced out when we got our "Got It" email. Now it is real, we can go :D I think until we had those visas in our passports I hadn't let myself believe it could be true and still kept waiting for something to go wrong.

I'm just so HAPPY, I can't stop crying and no-one else is in to share it with.

Awww, you big soppy - you'll have me in tears in a minute. Actually, I was like this on Wednesday night when it really hit me for the first time that we had had our visa granted.

Anyway, I'm really pleased for you and Terry - this is something you've dreamed for a long time and you deserve it. Now, stop bloody crying and get on with making your plans!!! :D

Re: Delayed reaction

It was the poor postman I feel sorry for. I have been accosting him for the last couple of days, then this morning I was looking out of our bedroom window and I saw him come down the road. He must've known I was about to leap again, because he looked up to the window, put a thumb up, gave a great big grin and said "I've got it." Poor man didn't even know what it was he had got, he just knew that I was waiting for something that would need signing for. Think I might have to give him a Christmas tip this year :)

I'm sure he must have been deafened by my yeeehaaa!!

Hi there Anne

Only read this today. Congratulations - you must be so delighted. Have any idea of when you will be leaving (sorry if that was answered before, haven't read whole thread).

Take care
