Definition of 'Java Security & e-commerce'
Hi All,
Is anyone clear as to the exact content of the MODL category 'Java Security & e-commerce'? I am a Certified Java Programmer with 5 years Java experience, with several years in intranet application development - so, do I qualify? Or do I need a very specialized skill... Does anyone know where the detailed scope of these MODL categories are actually defined? Thanks in advance, be2oz |

Thanks in advance, be2oz You need more specific skills, As you probably know just being able to write Java doesn’t make you a specialist in e-commerce or PKI cryptography. You need more specific skills, As you probably know just being able to write Java doesn’t make you a specialist in e-commerce or PKI cryptography. Also Intranet doesn’t provide you with the experience of security applicable to the Extranet (Internet) I have these skills together with 20 years experience from real time systems through to OO systems and I still only got ACS category of Applications Analyst Programmer!!! (which peed me off a lot as I have mentioned in many postings) all because the references referred to the fact that I am a consultant in such matters and didn’t say ‘Specialist’ .. be careful with the pedants at the ACS.
