Deep and Meaningful Tax Questions.
That title should have scared most people off.
I'm fairly sure I know the answers to these questions but I'd appreciate the opinions of others.
1. For the purposes of tax, are distributions effectively the same as unfranked dividends?
2. Assuming all the rules for STS are met, can a discretionary trust use STS?
