52 cards weed out Australia's 'most wanted'
A deck of cards along the lines of the US military's most wanted Iraqis is being designed to target Australia's most devastating weeds.
The National Weeds Strategy has a hit list of weeds that it wants exterminated.
It believes the deck of cards will give Landcare groups the information they need to seek and destroy the main offenders.
National weeds management facilitator John Thorpe says there will be a number of aces illustrating the key weed targets.
"We need at least five pictures to identify each weed and of course we'll need many more cards than are needed in Iraq, but we see putting the right tools in people's hands to manage the problem as being very important," he said.
