Decent hairdresser in Canberra

Anyone know of a decent reasonably priced hairdresser in Canberra, southside/Woden area? :) The choice here seems to be between paying $180 for a cut and colour which doesn't last more than a couple of weeks :frown: or 'Just Cuts' budget walk-in salons which are inexpensive but the result can be either good or terrible depending on the staff working that day.

Cant help with Southside - I go to The Hairdressing in James Court in Civic. Not cheap but I like them. The Riotact recently had a thread on best hairdressers in Canberra http://the-riotact.com/?p=17331 and http://the-riotact.com/?p=19715 Found it http://the-riotact.com/?p=12013

I find hairdressers in Canberra terrible. I’m a guy and get pretty much short back and sides and they just can’t get it right. Even when they really messed it up I went to a different one and just said “shave it all off” and they got that wrong (don’t ask me how).

I now just get it done in Sydney every 4 -5 weeks when I go up to visit friends. lol

Plenty of good hairdresseers winning awards in Australia and o'seas. Try Axis in Barry Drive.
