Deal, or no deal?
Hi everyone.
Please forgive me if this info is readily to hand, but I can't seem to find a match to my circumstances anywhere.
Question: Will we be able to emigrate to W.A.?
Some facts to help you all decide.......
Married couple.
Grown up children (not part of the deal)
British Subjects.
Both professionals.
Solvent.
45 & 47 years of age. (now)
One of us has both parents, two brothers (+ wives) and two nephews in WA (all Oz Citizens in excess 20 yrs), but also a brother and sister here in Britain.
Time scale: around 4 years or so from now, when one will be retired, but no where near the 55 yrs retirement visa age. Will want to invest/start in Oz business (but no track record for business visa).
Will be totally financially and medically self sufficient.
Your thoughts/advice please. Many thanks.

You really should talk to an agent.
You are too old for an independent visa and do not qualify for a parent visa.
Being financially and medically independent is irrelevant for visa purposes....as is having relatives in Australia.
An investment visa is complicated.....take professional advice.

Thanks for that G. I was kind of coming to that conclusion; it's not looking too good.
I'll get on to an agent, cheers.

Make sure the agent you speak to is MARA registered and is experienced in cases like yours. I would personally recommend you get in contact with either George Lombard in Sydney or Go Matilda. GoMatilda have offices in UK as well as over here in Australia.

And, thanks for that Dorothy. I've seen George's name on various threads. Cheers.
