Default De facto spouse employment ?

If my partner is only granted a temp visa (because we have been together less than five years) would she still have full rights to work as if granted a permanent visa ?

Also, what happens at the end of the two year period ?

thank you.

They have unrestricted work rights, the only proviso on this is that some employers, mainly government, will actually state that they will only employ people with PR or citizenship.
Just before the end of the two year period DIAC will send details oft he information they require for PR - Aussie police check, a few Stat decs, and evidence of the relationship continuing, will be the majority of what they require.
