That was the biggest surprise for me G that the ocean is freezing all year round. I thought Indian Ocean, lovely and tropical. However after a day of 40 degrees the cold water is lovely and before we had the pool I would venture in to cool off.

Aye Northern birds right. It'll be like swimming off Whitley in August.

There is a water park called Adventure world in Bibra lake, one in Hillarys and one near us in the hills called "wet and Wild" in Kalamunda. But I'm not sure if they only open for the summer.

[August is still winter and temps are cooler and could still be quite rainy. As for the speedos, I am a bit of a girl when it comes to swimming in the ocean and would say that unless you want your knackers to disappear up your arse don't go in the sea until November!![/QUOTE]
