DAB digital radio
 

Can I ask if DAB radio is popular in Aus?
It occurred to me that we have 4 DAB radios in this house and it might be a waste of time bringing them with me, as I learned that other countries are not as enthusiastic about it!!

im affraid we dont have DAB radio stations here,we have got RDS but thats not very good, im sure it wont be long before we do as we do follow the USA and they have them in your car

Ha ha ha, this is Australia mate. Don't expect digital radio, decent TV or anything else resembling modern life.
Think of the UK circa 1980 and you wont go far wrong.

I wouldn't have it any other way though, at least it's still safe to walk the streets at night :-)

isn't it worth bringing them for when it does come out, as prices of DAB radio's will be at a premium for a while?

Hi,
I emailed PURE and asked them about DAB+ and eventually they replied....

the DAB radios DON'T work on the DAB+ format that Australia has favoured... so guys... ebay it is for our DAB's!!!
