Aye odd people around, they also have an IMMACULATE dog ... it contrasts sharply with our horse-trimmed yards and assorted kids toys scattered around

Just been out for a reccie and supplies (beer, paper) and the latest from the banks of The Logan is ... it's damp. Pretty impressive though.

Hope everyone down there is ok - worst in that part of the State for 20 years.

The local creek is still rising but has some way to go before it becomes an issue for the house ... when we see a chook floating past we'll start worrying.

All roads (of any importance) are passable so we'll have to see what the afternoon and evening brings ... some storms by the look of the radar

Of more critical importance is the fact we guzzled the emergency booze last night

That and our daughter has a vomiting bug, ah, the smell of vomit on a sultry day, can't beat it. She'll be right (mate), it's not dull around here ...

Vim, thinking of you. Praying you make it through but without liquor I'm not making any bets.

We'll be breaking into the homemade mulberry wine 9 months early soon ... it's ABSOLUTELY tipping it down here, even had some hail ... all good fun.
