Default CYCLONE SHARON & TRACEY

It's only a matter of time isn't it?

You won't get another Tracy after Darwin was hit in 1974. No Sharon on the list for Australia at present, perhaps its the thought of the flying stiletoes that put them off

I forgot that Tracey had already done her blow job ... maybe CYCLONE CHARDONNAY is on the horizon?

The creek at the back of our property is flowing like a good 'un and rising at a rate of knots by the way ...

Flood warnings are out for the Logan & Albert River, looks like it could peak tonight/tomorrow, might get some booze in this afternoon just in case we are stranded

Could be a good plan - lots of water around which still has to flow into the rivers and creeks, Logan/Nerang/Albert and Coomera all on flood warnings, and the levels aren't expected to peak until tomorrow. Hope you are uphill from the creek.

We are uphill but not by much, when we bought we checked the flooding in '76 and the house wasn't directly affected then so it has a way to go.

As you know, it still pays to keep a watchful eye though, some roads around are closed and as you say the peak is some way off with more to come.

The next door neighbours are still sprinkling their lawn believe it or not, it takes all sorts

You're right there - kept telling the MIL while she was here how much rain was on the radar over woop Woop - she kept saying "I hope the bloke next door is watering the garden"
