Default Cyclone?

Just been chattin with a friend in NZ and they tell me a Level 5 Cyclone is headin towards Brissie! :scared:

They're misinformed. Its heading towards far nth qld - approx 1200kms north of Brissie.

The power of this cyclone is way more than the one the wiped out Darwin back in the days :scared: Hopefully it will stay offshore.Still surf should be good

The 1974 Cyclone Tracey was also a level 4. It was slightly slower moving however, so spent more time going through Darwin tearing things up. The problem with Ingrid (this one) is if it hits at high tide places could end up swamped/cut off.

Nasty old cow mother nature, i remember seeing the aftermath of a storm in Qld in 93 on the news when i was living in sydney, lots of flooding
