Bit of experience plse. Have always been under impression CVs must be no longer than 2 A4 pages long. However, I was advised 4 pages is actually the norm. in Oz. Which areas do they want more detailed? 4 pages is a bit daunting!

Personally, I'd got for a 2 page CV targetted for each position you are applying for. But, if you saw my employment history then you may wish to differ

I heard this too. Mine is now 3½ pages long, including lots of specific details of my skills. Had a couple of calls back so it can't be all bad

My CV had 4 pages of typed, but included a lot of skill detail - got first job I applied for, so 4 is no problem if necessary.

For most jobs the CV, or Resume is less important than the Selection Criteria response that will usually accompany it. However, prospective employers like lots of pages, more than in the UK and they expect you to "big ticket" yourself shamelessly.
