We are using a freight forwarder to move our goods to Perth(long story).

Just wondering if anyone knows the prices for customs,Aqis delivery etc this end.

Many Thanks

I think it's based on the value or the sq.m. of it. We paid $370.01 for our 20ft container. And another $88 for the 60cm square box that followed on after. That was for bringing into Australia.

Are you moving within Oz or coming in from outside? If it's within Oz, surely you don't have to pay customs again?

If you're moving within Australia you won't have to go through Customs or AQIs again - thats only for importing goods.

The shippers should be able to quote you on Customs fees. As for AQIS that is determined by the amount of stuff they decide needs treating - basic fee plus so much per item.

Actually Polly if you are sending anything from within Australia to WA you have to do a special form for their AQIS.

I've tried to get a link but the government website seems to be down. Anyway it's referred to as WAQIS declaration form.

I believe they have border checks and can search all vehicles.
