Currency Transfer
Hi, I'd be grateful for some advice as can't find anything on the search function - we're due to leave the UK for Sydney on the 28th of August.
We're investigating the cheapest and most efficient way of sending our money across.
So far the shortlist of transfer companies we have is;
-CFX
-HIFX
-FCD
Does anyone have any experience or advice on the above? Or any other companies else that we've missed!
Many thanks.

Re: Currency Transfer
I use Tranzfers all the time to transfer funds to the UK, once you have completed all the required paperwork (they have to do it to prevent money laundering) it is very easy. They are a sister company to Ozforex who deal with the larger sums, IIRC the more money you transfer the cheaper it is!!

www.tranzfers.com or www.ozforex.com depending on the amount you are moving.

Re: Currency Transfer
Thanks very much. That gives us a couple more options, which is great.
Now let's just hope the exchange rate keeps improving!! Well I can live i hope anyway.... :-)

Re: Currency Transfer
You can try out different amounts on ozforex if you click on customer rates on the left hand side. GBP 50,000+ ozforex seem the best at 1.15c below interbank rate
