Welcome to the site.
It's pretty easy really. Posts about general life in Australia go in the Australia forum, chit chat about whatever takes your fancy goes in The Barbie, questions about the immigration process, visa's etc goes in the Immigration forum (which also propogates to the misc.immigration.australia+nz newsgroup)
