How about it? Anyone stayed there? Will this be a good place to be for New Year??
Price I've got is £311 for 5 nights from 28th to 2 Jan.

Have a look at this site. It has reviews of that hotel, and you can search for others too.

I havent stayed there, but used to work next door and have eaten lunch there a couple of times, seems pretty good. In terms of New Year, cant imagine there'd be a great deal going on for New Years eve night if thats what your refering to, but from there you should be able to walk to Gloucester Park, they have the Trots racing there (I think thats whats its called) they have loads of bands on a a huge fireworks display as well, ive heard a few people say its pretty good.
Check out www.hotelclub.com.au for prices, there normally pretty competitive.

We stayed 2 nights there. It's very nice and I would recommend it. Very clean and the food was nice. Two big double beds in the rooms. The pool is on the roof and there is a small gym beside the pool. There's a lovely view of the Swan river, really nice for a night walk. Nice little bar were we had a really nice evening, very friendly bar man .
Dont know if anything would be on New years eve but if not it's walking distance to the CBD. Hope this helps a bit. Enjoy.

sounds lovely! Did any of you have a stop over in Dubai on the way? Which hotel did you stay in?
