Default Crock-pot Crackpot??

We use our crock-pot [slow cooker] a lot in the colder months and whilst we didn't want to take anything with us accept clothes and tools my mum assures us they don't have them in Australia so we ought to take it.
Dad's convinced they do sell them, so I ask you lot to settle my parental dispute before he's wearing it.
Thanks
Sean

Hi. Yes you can get them in australia. I remember my mum used to have one.

Perhaps this link will settle the dispute for you.

I sold my slow-cooker thinking I wouldn't be needing it in Oz - big mistake! We bought a new one a few months ago in Big W (large discount store) and I've used it more than I ever did back in the UK. It's just so easy to throw everything into it and leave it simmering, until we all get back from swimming and have a lovely hot casserole to tuck into. Mine is going right now actually, hmmm lovely smell wafting through from the kitchen...........
