Can anyone advise as to the crime rate in ADELAIDE as opposed to the rest of OZ. Any infomation regarding spouce visa's & renting/buying property i.e references deposits

If you look at figures they're pretty much the same across Oz, unfortunately the
figure is very high though.

Try running a search on http://www.fed.gov.au/ for crime statistics. There are quite a few links to the Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) and Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)

You might find some info on the states pages as well - http://www.gov.au/ is the main portal.
