Question Creme Fraiche

Does anyone know anywhere that this is sold? I absolutely love the low fat version and I just can't find it in any of the supermarkets.

Hheelllllpppp?

OMG, it's just dawned on me that it's not just that the shops don't have it near me, but that Australia doesn't have it. aaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhh

OMG, I'm on it. Mind you, at $5 a pot it's likely to be a luxury item for me. Stll, a wee drop is better than none.

Thanks mate.

make your own

Crème fraîche can be made at home by adding a small amount of cultured buttermilk or sour cream to normal heavy cream, and allowing to stand for several hours at room temperature until the bacterial cultures act on the cream

I find that the low fat sout cream is just as good, but dont get the Coles stuff its shit...try dairy farmers or Pauls

I haven't found any low fat stuff just the full fat version which as J&R says is well pricey. Available in both Coles and Woolworths.
