ANZ sent me through the new Qantas FF (visa I think) card details last week. You could have a look on their website perhaps, or even Qantas's might be quicker

Hi There - try www.anz.com.au - I work over here for them - website will show annual fee and cost of having the rewards programme attached to the card - amount of miles are capped each month - you just need you frequent flyer membership number when you apply - you can get this through the Quantas website - you have to pay for this too - just under 100 bucks I think to join!

( You can apply for the credit card on line by the way!)

If I can help any further just let me know

Claire

Ours (Commonwealth visa) doesnt do airmiles as such, but it does do a range of gifts, accommodation etc including gift vouchers for Flight Centre. ($500 gift voucher paid for our travel insurance on our UK trip, my next cash in (which is tomorrow ) is a Le Creuset set)

Or, Qantas FF is free if you have a non-Australian address to subscribe with.... then just change it to your Australian address

Think I actually set mine up about a week before I left to go on my WHV, so 'technically' at the time I was at that UK address. When my card arrived my dad forwarded it to me and then I changed my address online

I use it - most of my points actually come from hire cars as it happens, though on return from my LA trip with Qantas I do actually have enough points for a free flight (rather than a bottle opener, which is normally all I have enough points for in these things )

My Natwest Mastercard also collects airmiles, so one day I'll combine the two and go somewhere nice..... future dreams and all that!!

!
LOL we have used the fly buys for the past 12 months, we have about 2,000 points, not even enough for a bottle opener So i guess thats why i feel suspicious.

I remembered joining the frquent flyer program before leaving the UK but can't find the card or membership numbers. I have emailed them in the hope i'm on record somewhere. I can't believe that you have to pay a joining fee from this end. Actually i can sad isn't it!!

I actually enrolled in the FF prgramme about 3 years back, at the start of the visa/migration thing. 3 return trips LHR-Australia, and I had enough points to pay for last years flights for both of us Brisbane-Mel for the Grand Prix. I have enough now to do a trip for one if us, and thats just whats left over. If I use the ANZ card for everything it should soon build the points up again.

Codeshare
yes, they are part of OneWorld - with BA and loads of others - you don't get as many points as with QF themselves, but you do still get a reasonable amount.
