Re: Credit card companies ?
Nationwide. Fee free (as long as you pay your bills on time) and you get the best rate of exchange with no extra loadings. Don't even look at any others.

We've just got a post office one, as its really cheap (fee free) for using abroad. Use the search here - http://www.moneysupermarket.com/cards/credit_card.asp
The post office card came in an second handwritten envelope as well, so it looked like a personal letter, which I thought was a really good security feature.
The APR is 15.9%, which is relativly high, so it really depends on whether you plan to pay it off fairly quickly or not. All the ones that are fee free for using overseas seem to be about the same APR though. If you aren't going to pay it off fairly quickly you might want to do some calculations about whether its cheaper to go for a lower APR, and a percentage charge for each purchase that you make. At 2.75% on each purchase on the lowest APR card I can find, I doubt it would work out that much cheaper though.
Forgot to add as well - the post office gave us a surprisingly high credit limit as well, if this is something you are taking into consideration. Quite scarily high in fact.

Cheers for the help, I will look in to them
At least I will have a starting point, rather than wading through all the junk mail I get through the door.
Thanks again
