Looking forward to migrate to AUS...

I have 3 yrs. B.Com (Accouting major) with 4 yrs. IT experience. Knowledge in Oracle, D2K, Java, JSP, WML, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML/XSL and UML (Rational). Oracle all through as RDBMS.

Worked in offshore projects at Germany, UK, South Africa, Singapore and Kenya. Experienced with 10 projects.

Will ACS RPL grant me a 60 points ASCO 2231-17 and an MODL in Oracle?

Is there any hard and fast rule that ACS-RPL unofficially requires 5 yrs. work experience?

Regards....Ams

Hi Ams,

Yes, I think you should be optimistic about your assessment,

I have been assessed without any problem by the ACS (2231-xx) last May after only 2 1/2 years in e-commerce, with as few as 1 cover letter from my employer (1 employer for 2.5 yr in my case).

You should get your 60 pts, as Oracle is in the MODL (as far as I know)

Thanks a world Tropicalm.

This will boost my morale a lot. After a long try ultimately I received a convincing reply.

non IT Master's degree => downgraded IT degree

Further more, I don't have an IT degree, but in Chemistry (Master's Degree), and it has been downgraded by the ACS to be equivalent to an Aussie Bachelor's Degree in IT, which was sufficient to get 60 points in ASCO.
