there is free water outside our house at moment, our mains pipe has burst and there are council JCB's and lorries and stuff out there.... about 8 ozzie blokes looking at the grass rising 1 foot up on our lawn and the road soaking wet .... they were here pretty quickly within 30 minutes. Can't imagine that in UK.. the JCB turned up within that 30 minutes!. Send in the big guns, then he waited for an hour whilst his mates turned up.

We moved into our house last May and it didn't rain at all until the end of September we bought water about 4 or 5 times the last being just before the heavy rain as Murphies Law dictates
Are you having plastic, concrete or zinc alume?

Its a part of the Contract that we supply potable water. So we will probably just try to pick up a cheap smallish plastic tank for them. We are looking at getting two 10,000 gallon inground concrete tanks put in for us.

There's a guy up here that specialises in inground concrete tanks he charged a mate of ours $6k for 2 10k gallon tanks. Re the small tanks you can hire them from plant hire firms and they fill them for you.

Yes I do but your settings do not allow email and it would be silly to post the name and number on the forum.

Your call whether or not to publicly recommend any business - as long as that is not advertising or soliciting for business?

Why?? If its a good service then why not. You were just trying to get up close and personal to Megs, i know

If anyone needs a good plumber, cabinet maker, central heating installer or maker of double glazing for the S/E of Melbourne, i'd be more than happy to help

Not at all I just don't want the poor guy to get any crank calls because I posted his name and number on the forum. I'd happily send anyone it via email or pm after contacting him first for his permission.
I run my own tiling business here but I've never posted any contact details or even a surname etc.
