Cost of Tank Water ?
Can anyone on tankwater let me know how much it costs to have water delivered when your tanks run out?
Thanks |
Re: Cost of Tank Water ?
For a tanker load its $75, her in s/e Melbourne. That fills 2 very empty medium tanks (i think 20,000 liters) and the rest tops up the pool (very important if you have one otherwise the pump burns out :o  )

Re: Cost of Tank Water ?
We got a load of water for our new pool a couple of months back, from memory it cost $160 for the load :scared:  . But that single load more than half filled our pool which is 75,000 litres, so it must have been about 40,000 litres?
Not cheap! |

Hevs is it cheaper for you because you don't have to pay standing charges? I filled up a 35,000l pool and it cost me nothing like the prices other people mention, I'll have to dig out the paper. You have to flush your toilet once in a while on septics. Badge PS The chief of staff plugged the washing machine exhaust in to our garden hose and watered the plants yesterday. I was impressed with all the jiggery-pokery. :D |

Re: Cost of Tank Water ?
We paid $150 for 18,000 litres late last year. Prices vary season to season it should be cheaper at the moment as there's been 6 weeks of rain here in SE QLD. If your tanks are dry already after the recent rain it's going to cost you a fortune this winter

It's $90-$105 per load where we are. It was only $80 last year.

We are still only in the process of having them put in at the moment - We have got to provide a temporary supply for the builders |

We moved into our house last May and it didn't rain at all until the end of September we bought water about 4 or 5 times the last being just before the heavy rain as Murphies Law dictates Are you having plastic, concrete or zinc alume? |
