cost of living in NZ

Hi,

I will be coming to NZ in the May 1st week. Can anybody help me out with the information regarding cost of living for a couple in Auckland.

Any help regarding will be highly appreciated.

How long is a piece of string??

Be specific as to at what standard; as a resident or tourist; backpacker, family;
deluxe - how will you travel, eat in restaurants or self cater etc etc.
