cost of childcare
 

hi there
wonder if anyone can give me advice on the cost of childcare for 3 year olds in the adelaide region? have a job sorted and have tons of info on cost of living etc... the agency I am going through can only give me the basic info and the 'official' websites dont give actual cost. eg, I pay 246 a week at the moment for full time nursery places for my twins - what would I pay for a nursery place in oz? vaguest response so far is 80 - 260 dollars!!!

Hi - depends on if you get a % of help from family assistance??

But my daycare charge $145 per week for full time. We get money off that with the % we get back from Centrelink.

We are in Perth so I don't know what SA figures would be but I guess it would be roughly the same.

Hope this helps. Try emailing various centres and asking, they should tell you I would think.
