cordless batteries

does anyone know if you are allowed to take cordless drill batteries ie hilti 36 volt and bosch 14 volt in your suitcase ,rather than shipping them over as just started packing freight boxes.

Ive got 2 Makita 14v pistol drills+chargers coming with me :D
