Copy of marriage certificate when living overseas
 

Hi

I am currently living overseas and need a copy of my Queensland marriage certificate.
On the website it advises I need to have my documents certified by a JP
I can't do that from here so was wondering if there was any other way to do this, I can scan a copy of my Aussie passport?

Also I am housesitting overseas so can't provide my utility bill etc, I have scanned copies of my marriage certificate and citizenship certificate but not the originals
I need to renew my British passport but is in my maiden name and I need it to match my Australian passport.

Nope, not in Panama

Thinking it might be easier tochange my name via Deed Poll in the UK and sending that off with my passport instead. Much cheaper

If you're outside Australia then you'll need to use a notary public or an Australian embassy official.

Where is your original marriage certificate? Can't you wait until you get back to Australia to renew your British passport if you have a valid Australian passport you can travel on?
