Seeing my first ever shooting star and then seeing one again 2 hours later whilst camping in Barwon Heads (VIC)
Swimming with the dolphins in Sorrento (VIC)
Feeding the Possom by hand and then seeing the baby crawl out of mums pouch and crawl on her back (my back garden, Beaumaris, VIC)
lazing in a hammock on the eve of our 10th wedding anniversary on Daydream Island (QLD)when a rock wallaby bounced up to me and Hubby and started eating the grass around our feet.
Whitehaven Beach (QLD)
Wonderful sunsets from my deck (VIC)
Think I am lucky everyday when I see the colourful (noisy) birds when just walking down the street.

Go up Mount Tamborine.. theres a ice creamery near the top, on the left hand side...
woman from essex runs it.. shes a darling buds of may character !!
She has named her Kookaburras, and they swoop down and talk to her, steal chips... and land on your head...
Pisses you off when they crap on your magnum but !!

Was listening to Triple M last week, and some fella was showing some Japanese tourists around Brizzy...
They could hear Kookaburras, in the back ground.. and kept asking, you have MONKEY in Australia..
He eventually cottoned on, and led them to believe we indeed have a very rare species of hysterical giggling Monkeys !!
Cool bird, and the biggest Kingfisher in the world !!

Since we are posting pics of fit birds ![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Counted 12 wild ducks in our house yard the other day too ... they are fun, especially when they pick fights.

You can't beat the Perth city skyline for me. Whether it is from south of the river, Kings Park or even driving into work down the Mitchell at 6am it always puts a smile on my face as I think - "I live here!". You can even see it from Candlewood shopping centre in Joondalup on a clear day.

Only been here a few weeks but the coolest thing we have seen so far was this big fat Goanna (about 2 ft in length)!! Just came sidling out of the undergrowth to 'inspect' us
at this Rainforest waterfall!
