Pretty basic really but I love the fact that I see rainbow lorikeets on the way to school in the mornings - stunning birds!

We must have come over in a freak year as in just under a year we saw:
My first shooting star (on my birthday)
A couple of HUGE dust twisters in the outback which we could see for about half an hour before we got to them, and then drove straight through the middle of one, very scarey actually as it really was HUGE.
Then there was watching the lightning storm out over the sea in Sydney and then hearing smashing noises coming from EVERYWHERE and then HUGE hail stones and having to run for cover.
The devils marbles were pretty cool too.
A metiorite coming down near Adelaide was REALLY cool!!
and of course all the wonderful animal life.

Whales within touching distance playing with us in Hervey Bay!
Sunrise over Cairns from a hot air balloon.
Those King Birds (red head green body) feeding on the bird table as I ate breakfast at Mt Cotton Guest House nr Brisbane...
those are my top three, from our recent trip... I'm hoping to have fabulous diving sights once we make the move!

My sons eyes and smile when he held his first Koolala (as he used to say) Koala. It is one of the most magical pictures I have of him in his life. I can feel his excitement, trepidation, pride just from looking at his face in the picture. sorry this is a bit soppy but it's so special to me
Another thing was my first scuba dive on the Barrier Reef when I was 13 ( a while ago)- it was my equivalent of visiting space. Another world, my first close up of a shark and coral and just amazing fish and it was just so magic I didn't want to go up.
