Coolest thing you have seen in Australia?

Whats the coolest thing you have seen in Australia..

Can be solid , plant , mineral ,.. etc etc you get the picture...

Will start the ball rolling:

For me has to be on a stinking hot day, watching whirly winds, like mini cyclones whizzing along the dust..

Great topic, and something I hadnt thought about until now, but the Answer was easy, because it was the most awesome thing I've seen in all my life, even up until today. So not exactly cool, but bloody mind blowing.

I didn't see it but my husband told me today he opened his toolbox and found a scorpion.
Coolest thing I've seen is either my kids surfing in the Indian Ocean or Skippy bouncing along side my car as I drove up Connolly Drive

well today, sitting on the beach while 2 of my girls swam in the water I saw a dolphin jumping thru the waves.....after a momentary 'jaws' flashback I was able to enjoy the spectacle....and remind myself you don't see that in Weston-super-Mare!

ozzie, those photos are stunning!
I'm reminded that at that time I was working with a woman who had a half share in a farm outside Geelong. That duststorm was comprised of a lot of erosion from the Geelong area, so some of her neighbours wrote to Melbourne City Council to ask if they could have their topsoil back, please? The response from the Council was that they were welcome to it if they'd come and collect it..............
