Default Containers for transporting cats

Hi all,

I just rang a company that supplies pet transport containers recommended by BA Cargo, but was quoted £130 for two cat containers. This seems pretty expensive - Has anyone got them cheaper?

I wondered if you could transport them in the normal plastic carriers you use to take them to the vets, or do you need to buy special containers? All I know is they have to be big enough for them to stand up and turn round, and have a drink container.

Thanks,

Cat
