Container quotes May 2010
 

Anybody had a recent quote for a 3 bed semi, squeezing into a 20ft container to oz, Perth?

Also insurance?

Just trying to judge what we should expect to hear when we go for the quotes.

We have just been quoted £4,919 from Scotland to Perth with the exclusions listed below -

Exclusions: Tolls/Ferries, Parking/Dispensation, Difficult/Poor Access, Removal above or Delivery above 1st Floor, Duties, Taxes, Quarantine Inspection Fees approximately A$400 or other sums due to Government Departments, Storage or Standard Liability Cover.


I have no idea whether this is reasonable as we don't have any other quotes yet. It would be interesting to see what other have paid. This was an on-line quote based on listing everything we need to take, we haven't actually had them in to physically look at things yet but I wouldn't expect it to vary too much.
