container insurance

Hi

we are having our container loaded next week to take all our worldly goods on there merry way to Oz. We are using Allied Pickfords and there insurance seems extremely high.

Can anybody recommend an insurance company that they have used to insure their possessions whilst they are being shipped.

Any replies very soon would be gratefully appreciated.

thanks

Re: container insurance

hI,
We decided not to ship ours , so we've sold most of our contents because we were quoted £4200 removals then £1500 insurance and for that you can buy new in oz. We thought the insurance was to high so opted out. Hope your move goes well , good luck.
