Question Contacting DIMIA

Hi Everyone,
New to this forum and hoping to stick around a while.Have a question for you.Has anybody had any success in contacting DIMIA by phone in Australia. I keep trying but get a message saying I'm ringing out of hours! This happens even if I ring at 4am!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Tracey

Hi Tracey,

I remember reading a post on this forum saying that the DIMIA phone system will only take domestic calls and any international calls get re-directed to an answer service. You might be able to search the forum and find out exactly what it said.

Regards, Peter

Hi Guy's
Thanks for responding to my question. We have recently sent them more documentation via email and have no way of checking if they have received it. It's quite frustrating. I shall search the forum for info.
Cheers
Tracey

I used to ring them on the international line all the time in Canada. I always got someone on the line.

Since being here in Oz, I've never had a problem talking to someone in person. I'm not sure what number your calling (Agent, or helpline) and that make a difference. The agent will almost never answer the phone and will make you leave a message. The help line will always answer.

I used to ring them from UK and always got through - this would be on about 4 occasions 1st time each time over a period of 2-4 weeks , at about 1100-0000 UK Time.
