I e.mailed Dimia about an enquiry regarding my Permanent Residence visa applicaiton on Friday. Four days letter haven't heard anything yet. An agent had advised us on this thread to contact Dimia, so I wasn't doing anything daft by contacting them. Come on Dimia get your finger out, we are all walking nervous wrecks!! Does anybody know how long it takes Dimia to respond to a pretty basic question? Heather

I contacted DIMIA a few times during my application, but I never got any answer. The final time I e-mailed them, 4 days later my PR visa came through the letter box! What I'm trying to say is, it will happen, obviously not as fast as we would like, but let things go through at their own pace.

Think it depends on your case officer.

I had to email mine at the beginning of the process to correct a DIMIA error in my name - got a reply within 24 hours.

Sent an email later on with a query and got no reply.

Tend to think queries and worries get ignored.....

It's a good thing they do - let's them get on with processing those forms quicker!
