Contact by Email/Fax - Anybody done this?
Quick question - I have requested that DIMMIA contact me by email/fax - Anbody ticked this box and of so do they contact you through email/fax for everthing including that lovely yellow letter that seems to appear on applicants doorsteps to say that their visa has been granted??

We used this option and were pleasantly surprised when they did use email to send us specific questions. They did however, not send any of their formal documents in that form, it was always through the normal snailmail channel (i.e. Post).
We also used email to communicated our progres with the caseworker and again were pleasantly surprised to see how responsive and courteous they were.

We also communicated via email, even our acceptance was emailed, with the "official" version arriving in the post a few days later.
