Construction Industry labour only
A friend just arrived, worked in UK construction industry as labour-only subcontractor and considering similar here
Is the labour only option popular in Australia or is it mainly employees?
How does the labour only system work? ie does he need to register for ABN? GST? any insurance requirements? Pty Ltd? Is Aus labour only similar to UK labour only?
Any advice much appreciated
If it matters we are in QLD and he is floor layer (vinyl, carpet, etc)
Checked QBSA and doesn't appear to need trade licence
