confused nurse
Hi all,
Please excuse me, but this is a first. I'm a registered adult nurse in the Uk and I want to come out to Perth/ Adelaide to work. I keep getting different info from people who have been. Some say Oz was the best thing they ever did and it was all they thought it would be. Others say it was awful, they only got the grotty shifts and the australian nurses were really unfriendly. So I'm a little confused as to what to think. I'd be very grateful from any input from you guys as to your experiences.
Also I have an insulin-dependent diabetic son who is 14 yrs old. Now some people have said he can't come because of the condition and some say he can if he's stable, which he is. The embassy doesn't seem to want to discuss the issue without me making a formal application. Has anyone had similar experiences?
Many thanks for any feedback.
