Confused about PBS and repeats
I have a prescription with 5 repeats on it so that I get 6 months worth of tablets. It has a cross next to PBS.
This site http://www.pharmeasy.com.au/default.htm has PBS pricing ($31) and repeat pricing ($5).
I assume I pay 31+(5*5)= $56 if I get them all in one go?
If I bought them one at a time would I have to pay $31 each time? Or, $5?
Is that what they mean by PBS and repeat pricing?
The site also mentions private prescriptions - what's that about?
Would private prescription pricing ever be cheaper than PBS?

Re: Confused about PBS and repeats
Hello,
When we get prescriptions they give us one month for $31. Then they give you prescription back saying 4 repeats left. We pay $31 for each prescription.
You just keep taking it back to chemist each month until all repeats used.
