Default Complaining about the rain

Not in brisbane I think. News just announced level 4 water restricitons being considered by end of month unless serious rainfall comes, hopefully with summer on its way (summers the wet bit for those in UK) it will.

Amazingly one hour north its peed down a lot in last 2 weeks, we can even measure it now, R found a rain guage lobbed on a building site and stuck it on the fence. Hes turning into a aussie Reg

We've got Level 5 here in Toowoomba at the end of September - no outside use of water whatsoever

They're talking about Level 6 next year - don't see how they can restrict use any more, unless they give everybody an allocation and then turn the household supply off once that's been exhausted :scared:

Just as well we've put in 2 tanks since we've been here

Everything is actually looking quite green here for a change as we have had a fair amount of rain here over the last couple of weeks - just in time for the Carnival of Flowers

No restrictions here whatsoever - to quote from my local council:

"Following good rain and dam levels reaching 99% capacity, water restrictions have been lifted. Customers are reminded to still use water wisely."

Pissed down with rain again today.

Our mayor is arguing that we stay at level 3 if other areas of SEQLD move to level 4 because of the dam level. We have had stacks of rain recently, why it doesn't fall just 50km up the M1 I don't know.

Big ruck kicking off here too. Massive volumes of Sydney's water is now coming from the Tallowa dam up the road from here in Kangeroo Valley. They've taken so much it's already stripped the river of all prawns and most fish.

'rain guage ' I know someone else who does that... .

I just look in my tank. Peed down again last night mega lashing, woke up thinking what the hell is that.

Our tanks are full and it just shows if the whole of Brisbane had them that would be the North half at least with enough drinking water to last a few months.
