Default Commonwealth Bank 'glitch'.....

http://www.news.com.au/technology/st...014239,00.html

...anyone else affected?

I just checked my account and my rent payment from yesterday was taken, but my available funds is too low, by an amount equal to my weekly rent payment. My landlord confirms that their available funds is too high by an amount equal to my weekly rent payment.

What a cock up!

Yep, heard this on the news this morning. Apparently people using ATM's have had their transactions go through twice, which seems to be what has happened with your rent.

Yeah Neil moved money from one account to another via internet banking & double amount removed from his account. Phone banking assures it will be sorted soon.

Funny how it never goes wrong in our favor though.

HA!!!!! We were taken for $5000!!!!!:curse::curse::curse:

DH had his card declined in front of his colleagues yesterday morning. He was so embarrassed, soon thereafter we realised that the CWB had issues...

To be fair it's all been rectified this morning and no charges have been levied.

Yes I was!

I transferred money via net banking on Saturday, went to buy some food last night and my card was declined twice. Went and checked my balance and it was $3.55. I panicked!!

All is ok now, was hoping that extra money would appear in my account though
