Hi we lived in Adelaide, came home 2007, we now want to try Perth! Adelaide too quiet and not a lot happening for us, what are the positives about living in Perth, as Adelaide is very hard to get work. What are the pubs like? football for hubby? any info very appreciated!

hello bluekipper, there's a ton of threads about perth.....just do a search, you'll come up with 1000's of results, with lots of good info....

there's also lots of Perth people on here who will be keen to help you out, but they will probably give you better info if you ask them specific questions, and also, tell them a bit more about yourself !

Thanks for reply, ok, I`d like to know about sense of community, we are maybe looking at Joonalup, or surrounding areas, basically, we want to know how ppl have settled in Perth. We only have Adelaide to go by, and Adelaide is like a slow country town, nothing much happening, but beautiful scenery, sorry but not enough for us, being from avibrant city an all.
jobwise,I`m maybe considering bus driving, need training 1st tho!
