Collecting your visa
We have been informed that we can collect our visa from the aus embassy in London.
Does anyone no if you have to go to the embassy personally or whether you can do it via post.
If you have to go and get it personally does the whole family have to go to london or can I just go by myself.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Collecting your visa
Hi Tej
You can send off your passports to be stamped. We did this and they came back within 7 days, but if you can't wait you can go in person. As far as I know you don't all have to be there, you can go on you own, but you may have a long wait.
Hope this helps

Re: Collecting your visa
Thanks for such a quick reply.
That's great news.
We are travelling to Aus on the 26 of June, as we have to enter by Sept. The letter sent to us is not clear when it comes to collecting your visa.
As we are trying to save all our holiday it makes sense to send it by post.
When are you planning on moving??
Thanks for the reply.

Tej,
If you go and collect the visas it's best to get there early as a queue soon forms.
I got there at 8.30 (about 10 people in front of me), they let you in 8.45 and start processing people at 9.00am.
I was out by about 9.45am.
Good luck
Karl.

Yes. If you don't want to go to AHC you can send the passports. Just make sure they are registered post (both ways).
Good luck and best regards
Karl.
