The SSTs in the northern Coral Sea are plenty high enough. The high to the south (on that model anyway) is typical of an emerging autumn pattern and could well save the day due to the wind shear it brings with it. (rips cyclones to bits)

Current low still near stationary off the coast and its still unclear which way its likely to move............. is it a bad omen that its Larry's anniversary today? |
